Analysis of the Main Indicators and Mathematical Models of the Interaction of the Wheel with the Agrobackground (Soil)

The article considers the main aspects of the interaction of wheel drives of agricultural machinery with the agrobackground. A basic analysis of mathematical models for determining the contact area of the wheel with the agrobackground (soil) is carried out, taking into account the analysis of the features of their use when performing calculations. The advantages of simple mathematical models that allow for quick calculations in field conditions are taken into account, and mathematical models that allow for scientific research taking into account the maximum number of interaction parameters are also given. It is determined that the most effective mathematical model for describing the interaction of the wheel with the agrobackground (soil) are models that take into account the characteristics of the wheel and the agrobackground. In this case, it is necessary to take into account the deformations of the wheel tire and the soil.
Most mathematical models are used as the basis for software that allows for modeling various processes of interaction of the wheel drive with the agrobackground (soil). The main platforms on which such software is implemented are platforms such as Tyre / Track-Soil Interaction (TT-SI), ADAMS, SoilContact (MATLAB).
For general analysis, a simplified schematic representation of the pressure diagram of the wheel of agricultural machinery on the agrobackground (soil) was constructed. The main zones of influence of the wheel on the agrobackground (soil) were described. Based on the obtained data on the contact area, the parameters of the interaction of the wheel with the agrobackground are given, which are described by the rolling resistance force, the wheel contact area, as well as such indicators as slippage and yaw. The main influence of these indicators on the technical and operational performance of modern agricultural machinery is given.
