Designs of Bag Fixing and Counter-Pressure Devices for Packing Straw Substrate for Oyster Mushroom Cultivation

The paper presents design solutions for devices intended for bag fixation and creating discharge counter-pressure during the compaction and loading of straw substrate for oyster mushroom cultivation.
Based on the results of the conducted research, various design options for container fixation and counter-pressure generation devices were developed for compacting and packaging straw substrate for oyster mushroom cultivation, namely: a limiting plate, a support device, and a lever-damping clamping mechanism.
It was established that the lever-damping clamping device complies with the specific requirements of the technological process to the greatest extent. It ensures high uniformity of material density and allows for precise regulation of its compaction level (especially under conditions of varying loaded batch weights) with simultaneous packaging into bags according to the technical regulations.
